Master the fundamentals of precision marksmanship with Frogman Tactical’s Precision Rifle Level I — a comprehensive beginner-to-intermediate course designed to build a rock-solid foundation in long-range shooting fundamentals. This course goes far beyond standard “intro to long-range” offerings. While most beginner precision classes stop at basic rifle handling and short distances, Precision Rifle Level I dives deep into the science and mechanics that separate average shooters from consistently accurate ones. You’ll learn the critical body mechanics, positional shooting fundamentals, and ballistic principles necessary to understand and calculate bullet drop and windage with confidence. Course Highlights: - Body Mechanics & Positions: Develop proper fundamentals in prone and seated supported positions. Learn natural point of aim, bone support, muscle relaxation, and breathing techniques that allow you to hold steady and break clean shots. - Ballistics Science: Understand the real-world physics behind bullet flight. Master range estimation, dope cards, ballistic calculators, and the effects of environmental factors on bullet trajectory. - Wind Reading & Corrections: Practical techniques for reading wind, mirage, and other indicators to make accurate windage calls — even at distances most beginner courses never reach. - Equipment & Setup: Rifle setup, optic zeroing, sling use, bipod techniques, and gear optimization for precision shooting. - Safety & Mindset: Strict adherence to Frogman Tactical’s elite safety standards (zero tolerance for muzzle or trigger discipline issues) combined with the mental discipline forged from Navy SEAL principles. The course is intentionally structured for shooters new to precision rifle work. While we push your skills and understanding well beyond typical entry-level training, we*do not require or expect students to shoot out to 1,000 yards in Level I. Our focus remains on building repeatable, scientific fundamentals that will serve you for years to come. Course Finale: Precision Shootout At the conclusion of the course, every student will compete head-to-head in a challenging shootout against fellow participants.
