Gideon Project (3 Day Event)

Service Description

At Frogman Tactical, the Gideon Project weekend course with Jason will take your rifle and pistol skills to the next level. From precision rifle training to advanced pistol techniques, this course offers in-depth training to enhance your skills in different aspects of these platforms. Join us for this intensive two-day course and push your limits with the help of our experienced instructors. This is a camp out if you like. The Gideon project is for men to come together and spend time with like minded people. If you do not wish to camp there is a town about 30 minutes away called Odessa where you can find a hotel. - Day 1 Friday: Rifle The primary focus will be getting the students dialed in on precision rifle out to 500 yards with the AR15 platform, learning holds and calls. - Day 2 Saturday: Pistol The primary focus will be getting the students dialed in on pistol, improving their accuracy and speed overall. We will also be going into Handgun Mastery Concepts. - Day 3 Sunday: We will start the day off with a 20-30 minute Bible sermon and discussion, followed by Rifle and Pistol training as it pertains to Close Quarters mechanics. ---------- TRAINING HOURS Friday: 0900-1700 Students should be on location by 0800. Saturday: 0800-1700. Sunday: Sermon is 0800-0900. Training 0900-1500. We understand most will need to leave early on Sunday. ---------- GEAR NEEDED: - AR15 platform --It is suggested to have at least a 3x magnifier on your rifle or up to 8x magnification for day 1. If you have a 1x your shooting distance will be limited by your ability to see. Average 300-400 yards. - Sling - 2-3 Magazines - Support bag - Battle belt suggested but not required - Handgun - Handgun holster - 2-3 magazines - Magazine pouches - Eye and hearing protection - 750-1000 rounds of rifle - 750-1000 rounds of pistol - Snacks - Chairs - Water - Food for all day - Sunblock - Anything else you would like to bring - RV's and BBQ grills are welcome. There is no hookups for electricity or plumbing.
